If anyone is interested in getting together for a Saturday or Sunday jam, post here or PM me and maybe we can put something together. I play guitar; blues/rock. I live in Changwon but can easily get to Masan-Jinhae.

It's a standard 6-string Samick; picked it up about 6-7 months ago. It's nothing special; just a nice guitar to bang away on.

Hey, I play bass. I normally play blues and rock but am up for anything as long as I have a few days notice to get any new songs sorted in my head. I'm around Jinju so getting to Masan/Changwon is no worries for me.

Like I said, it's a basic simple Samick. If you were to pick one up new, it would cost you between 200-300 won but I'll let it go for half that; special deal for newly arrived foreigners.

Sorry ghohn, no guitar for sale. Though if you want a guitar, there are a few shops in Changwon which sell them for a decent price. The store at which I purchased mine (the acoustic) was on the street behind Obriens pub.
I bought my electric in Seoul; the Nakwon music arcade, I think. Wonderful place. A new Samik acoustic starts at about 225,000; a new electric (a Fender Squier, say) starts at 250,000.

I picked one up here in Masan for cheap. Actually, I'm really, really impressed with the quality that 275k bought me. In all seriousness, it's not going to beat out my sisters Gibson XCJumbo, but you get the idea ... |
