theres one not far from my work. ive never been in it but it looks funny! it says "IRAQ" in big letters and theres some arabic below it.

ive seen aussie bars, a few canadian bars, but that Iraq bar is really interesting.

maybe i should just shutup and go there sometime

any other strange bars around town? maybe an uzbekistan bar?

The actual fact that the marketing of a name for various venues in Korea that has a clear snub factor built into it against another country, is as clear as need be proof a general widespread dislike and disdain for said country snubbed. Now maybe the proprietor of said bar, really enjoys Iraqi drinking culture, but I really have to doubt that one. Rolling Eyes

Maybe they were just looking through an english newspaper and thought it would be a cool name? Most bars I've been to have stupid names: "Boo", "Pink'n Gene", "Happy Liquor Pia", "Cool".

Besides which, wasn't the war in Iraq all about getting rid of the Ba'ath regime and not actually against the country and it's population?
[I am NOT trying to turn this thread into yet another debate about the war in Iraq btw]

i think hyo-lee is too perfect. too many big shiny smiles, not enough mystery to her. perfect beauty.

lexy is more edgy. she almost has a bizarre borderline skankiness to her. lexy has imperfect beauty, which in my view is far more alluring.
