This must be a FAQ, but what documents should you bring with you if you plan on just flying out to Korea and getting a job (with no job at all lined up)? I have been looking all over this site for days now, but can't find an answer. Please point me in the right direction.
For example, what type of police / background report do you need to bring? Should you bring your SSN card? Driver's License? Transcripts (even if you have a low GPA)?
If this question is already addressed on this site, please point me there.
Thank you!! |

Unless you have previously had an E2 visa you should arrange your job and visa from home. You will be required to have a consular interview in your HOME country so your trip here will be an expensive joy ride at your expense.
If you still want to try it then you need apostilled copies of:
Bachelors degree
police background check / criminal record check (local or state is fine)
and
University sealed, official transcripts (to verify the degree not to check your GPA).
You also need your passport, extra passport sized photos and a resume.
After you arrive and get a job you will be required to have a medical that includes checks for drugs and communicable diseases.
