I bought some MS point cards today (5x500points) for my Xbox 360 but when I got home and tried to input the 25-digit code, all of them said "invalid code"
Has the store owner forgotten to activate the cards or am I doing something wrong?
I don't have a gold subscription. Would that be a factor?

| if your xbox is a US or UK one, that might be the problem I'm pretty sure points are not international. |

My Xbox is korean, but I've just checked and my live account lists my home country as the UK.
There's no way to change it.
Does anyone know if creating a new Live identity with a Korean address would get around the problem, assuming that the problem is a region one? |

| Hmm, you might be better trying to find a friendly Korean who will buy them off you...if you create a new Xbox Live ID, your points will only be good for that new ID, not for your current one. |

Creating a korean id worked.
However, I bought the points in the hope of downloading GTA:SA and the korean xbox live site doesnt even list it as an option. Grrr.
I guess I'll use the points for Guitar Hero instead. |
