I have already done a search on this, but can only find stuff from four years ago. Feel free to point me in the right direction of a decent thread if there is one...
I need some more contact lenses, monthly disposables. I'm not too bothered about the price, as I don't particularly want to scrimp on something like this. I'm going home at christmas so I really only need two months worth of lenses, and then I can get my own prescription for the rest of my time here. I thought I had enough, but after losing a pair last week I am getting desperate... |

So do you want the phone number of an optometrist or something?
These places are everywhere, there's even one next to my university bookstore on campus. You could probably walk around in your neighbourhood for a minute and find one closer than anyone could recommend to you online. |

i tried to buy contacts once in apkujong and was told i would have to buy the most expensive ones because "foreigner eyeballs are different from korean ones". i was floored!
i only went to one place and then decided to not buy any cos i was just getting them for swimming anyway. i am pretty sure that you will have better luck than me. |

every place that sells eyeglasses sells contact lens. What part of Seoul are you in? They are easier to find then a drug store. there are 3 with in walking distance of me. |

Just take your empty box to the nearest eyeglass/contact lens store. |

If its as easy as you're suggesting then that's a relief. I still have the empty cases and know my prescription so hopefully I shouldn't have too many problems. I live near Seoul National University subway, so I am not in the middle of nowhere or anything.
And no, I don't need an optometrist. Just the lenses. I'm going home in two months for christmas so I think I'll leave things like eye exams for then. |

Your set. Just walk in to the next shop you see that sells eyeglasses and you can pick up anything you want in lenses. Like buying groceries here. A lot of places include the exams, so it may be good to go ahead and get that as well. |
