What exactly is an after school program at a public school? Who are these kids? Is it more like a club wher eyou do fun activites? Or just more lessons for kids who just love to learn?

Well it depends on the groups... and the school. I've had after school classes where most of the kids didn't want games (they actually wanted to study!) and classes where that's all they wanted to do. You'll probably just have to feel them out by doing both academic and game activities and see their reactions. Then, of course, you may have to do what your school wants you to do... Some let the teachers do what they want in the after school classes, (as in my case) and others have plans for you.. Hope this helps..
