|
|
I'm currently 'negotiating' the final month of my contract at a hogwan after the director hired a guy in my position because I dislocated and fractured my arm thereby missing 1 week of work. We fought out the legality of what he had done and agreed on a compromise which will see me paid up by the 12th and 19th November.
However he is insisting that the air ticket back has to be on the last date of my visa (23rd November) despite me wanting to stay a week after I finish to organise my money transfer etc. Not least have time to challenge him if he pulls a fast one.
Where do I stand legally on this? |

I'll just add that he claims the ticket (which he hasn't bought yet) won't be an e-ticket or changeable.
Any help on this will be appreciated.
Thanks. |

Unless your contract states that the ticket must be on the last date of your visa, the only thing preventing it from being later is his stubbornness. You can easily go down to immigration and and get up to a 30 day non-working extension. I would fight for this one because it sounds like he's setting up to screw you. |
