|
|
I'm going to do the half-marathon in Vancouver in May, so I'm starting to do longer runs. My running shoes I have now are almost finished.
I know there are shoe stores all over the place, but I'd like to go to one where they know what they're talking about with respect to which shoes are best when it comes to running long distances.
The last time I ran the full marathon I wore a pair of New Balance which were excellent, but I don't really have a brand preference - I just want a good pair of shoes.
Also I take a size 11 in North America, which I think is about a 28 or 29 here. Is that going to be difficult to get a hold of?
Thanks |

There MUST be a an adidas or nike store in the 6th largest city in Korea. I see them in podunk little cities I pass through on bike trips. |

There is a line of shops at the back of the second floor of the Homever (soon to be renamed Homeplus) that specialize in various brands of shoes, including Adidas, New Balance, Reebok, and others (not Nike). I don't know if you'll find any knowledgeable sales staff able to discuss the merits of various shoes for your particular needs (at least in English), but I do know that you can find your size, since I wear the same size myself and bought my own pair there just yesterday. I would recommend doing some research online for a couple of different brands and models you think would might work for you, then see what you can find in those shops that might fit the bill.
Good luck. |
