I"ve read some of your posts and replys and all that. A lot of you sound like at least 30+.
ALSO, Aren't you guys one of those nerd, or geek
types?
I'm not saying all of you are, but a lot of you SOUND like it.
Weren't you guys losers when you were in high school?
I can imagine a geeky looking old man with a big old glasses whenever I read your posts and replys. Well, if you had it good , you woudn't have to come to Korea in the first place. I mean, wouldn't you be working at some mcdonalds or burgerking if it wasn't for Korea teaching english? |

the smart students ended up working in fast food joints?  what school did you go to?
troll, you indeed sound immature but maybe your jerk attitude is a function of being right out of university where obviously your 'B' grades took you to Korea instead of where the 'A' geeks went, into grad school and careers before deciding to go overseas later on

Actually, tone it down some. Imagine 23 year olds who put in their 4 years at university and are off to see the world. They know everything, their boss should always listen to (and implement) their ideas, and working for 8 hours per day without over time for the extra 2 hours is unheard of.
That might be closer to the mark.

That is correct. Having 8-hour working days is worth more than 2.3M per month.
I have no problem with working 8 (or even 12) hours per day, as long as my compensation fairly reflects the amount of time I work. |

the defintion of what's a winner and a loser changes once you are out of highschool. Perhaps your usage of this as a barometer tells us more about how much of a "winner" you are more than anything else.
by most definitions I probably was on the "losing" side in HS, though never even remotely close to "dweeb' stage.
but since graduating highschool, I'd say I've been more of a "winner" than most, and that includes even now as I have a fairly cushy gig in Korea, lots of vacation and lots of traveling opportunities while my North American contemporaries run around doing bbq in their khaki shorts with their big beer bellies, going to strip joints while struggling with everyday monetary and mental demands of some hag wife he no longer cares for and spoiled bratty children 
p.s. most people I remember that were "cool" during highschool I've seen years later working in Jewel, McDonalds. etc. I guess they had their year or two of "glory in the sun", eh? |
