|
|
My girlfriend is visiting this winter and I want to plan some nice activities for the month she'll be here. Other skiing, what kind of couple-y winter activities could you suggest?
We'd like to go to some kind of natural hot spring at a mountain resort but I don't know how to begin to find them or for that matter whether they're co-ed. I'd prefer to be able to bathe with my significant other than with a bunch of random ajushi's.
My coworkers have been no help. Have you guys found anything? |

Co-ed public saunas? Ha ha ha!
You need a good hotel or deluxe yeogwan (love motel) for that.
Romantic things in Seoul:
The Bear House restaurant (do your own research, near Sungshin Women's Uni station)
Boat ride on Han River (you make it romantic, the gaggling families don't do that for you)
Rent a car (or gamble with taxis) to Palgokjeong's Italian restaurant and mountain views
Decorating your own apartment for her
Find a private roomed restaurant or bar
Rent a canoe and paddle down the Cheonggyechon
Take her to an empty bar and tell her you rented it out for the night
Take her to a double barber pole massage parlor and get the couple's massage |

A lot of the hot springs are actually co-ed. You wear bathing suits. |

Thanks for the suggestions. Really, I just had no idea where to start.
I was kinda hoping someone might have some leads on something outside of Seoul - like a mountain resort of some kind. I've also stayed at a couple min-bak's while I've been here and enjoyed that experience, any suggestions on locations to check out?
