Hi,
I need some advice on what goes on if you need to get out of a hagwon and want to get a new job whilst still in Korea.
I have been here for 4 months and understand that if I leave my job after the 6month mark I can do so with more ease.
However, can I start going for job interviews at schools to start in feb? My contract states that I have to give 2months notice with contractual reasons as to why I want to leave. They have been paying me late and also making holiday's or sick days a major issue each time. Also, they are doing the same to all other teachers (inclusive of Koreans) which means we all want to get out!
Can I get out or are there going to be complications?
Can I get a new school to sponsor the E2 visa I have or will I have to return to my home country?
My list of reasons are as follows but are these suffice to get out?: Late pay, repeated changes of schedules, using everything possible to prevent getting contracted days of holiday, repeated excuses about giving my degree back, making my pay date be 10days later because they have had teachers leave before, making me try and work when a doctor has had to give me emergency injections...and general disregard for anything but money.
Are these reasons that can be used to be released from my contract.
Any help will be amazingly valuable!
Thanks!

suggest you to call 1345 press 3 and star key (immigration office) and find out if you can be transferred to other employer, before 8 months with original employer.

good luck
