Well, I sort of had a good day and bad day. I lost my wallet, so I was pissed about that, but I was lucky to have cash in my bag and all. Anyway, I was in a very foul mood, and I was on the subway sitting next to some ajossi and his wife.

Anyway, he looked kind of agitated and his wife kept trying to shut him up, but in the wrong way, in my opinion. And he was boiling as it was, and he said the word halmony or grandmother, so I thought he was thinking of getting up to let the grandmother type sit, so I got up.
But, apparently, he was giving her dirty looks instead and was aggressive. He then got up and started kicking the subway door, screaming and looking at the older lady in an aggressive way, and she moved away with two other ladies. He kept on creating drama, and I didn't like someone seeming aggressive toward an older lady even though he wasn't going to hit her and wasn't really getting close.

I had enough of the drama and looked at him, and he acted like he wanted to threaten me, and I basically told him if he wanted to hit me, he could go ahead, because I was not in the mood for him. His wife didn't want him to go at it, and he didn't seem to really want to though he was yelling at me. I, eventually, pressured him to exit without lifting a finger, and he left with his woman who didn't really want to exit.

After that was done, all these Koreans smiled and were happy and looked at me as if they were grateful. And some pointed in amazement at how I somehow got the guy through hand gestures and a look to buzz off.
I just didn't want to have him yelling and raving and also his bothering of the old lady wasn't cool with me, and I was having a bad day, and I just didn't want to hear it.

No one should mess with nice grandma types. It isn't cool.

Good on you, picking on grandmothers is not cool. Non-violent approach is pretty cool too.

I am not really sure since I cannot speak Korean, but his woman has no clue as to how to calm an agitated man. You don't touch his lips in a way to hush him like she did before he went ballistic. He was upset about something. A guy wants attention when he is acting like that, like a baby throwing a tantrum.

It doesn't excuse his behavior at all, but she should know better as to how to make an agitated man calm. She should show that she understands he is feeling upset, that she cares etc.. instead of trying to repress him, because he is making a scene. I think that was part of the problem. I didn't approve of how she handled her man. Still, I didn't like him kicking the subway door, talking in a certain way to the older lady and what have you. Plus, when someone is yelling and you are right next to him, it's simply annoying. I got close to him to make sure he didn't bother the older lady. Anyway, the passengers seemed pleased that I basically encouraged him to leave. I've done such a thing before in Montreal when this guy was harassing the cash register girls at a pharmacy, because they weren't going fast enough.
