As well, what is the area around the Hite Brewery like? Is it an older area?

Thanks ahead of time for your informative replies. Smile

Are you here yet? I'm wondering the same exact thing as I just pulled in last night!

There are three downtown areas: (lifers check for spelling mistakes) Hap Sung Dong, Chang Dong, and Dekerri(AKA Shin Masan). There are two bus stations: One in Hap Sung Dong and another in Dekerri. There is a ferry terminal next to the immigration office down near Shin Masan, that can take you to a bunch of little islands, including Dosuem Island: which features a tiny childrens theme park. There are three movie theathers: Two in Hap Sung Dong and a newly built one in Shin Masan. Also if you want to learn Korean or bush up on your Hap Ki Do, there is an English speaking Hap Ki Do instructor in Shin Masan who teaches both. Outside of that there are countless little coffee shops, DVD bangs and PC bangs to waste your time. There's also a half decent sized fish market. Also there are dinosaur footprints somewhere in the city. Well, that's what I've found so far.

The guy said "dinosaur footprints." I don't want to go in search of body parts. Have your own CSI fantasy. I want to go to the little island with the children's park. Maybe we'll see sharks. Twisted Evil

Help! My evil twin is trying to confinscate my laaaaaaaptoooooop. Let me out of this tank. Rolling Eyes

I went to "All That Jazz" with a fellow foreigner I met on the street last night. He said the crowds are hit or miss. Apparently it was more miss than hit as we were the only 2 there.

All was not for naught though, he heard E-mart had bottles of Leffe for w2,000! Not too shabby. Today whilst at Lotte Mart, I saw with my own two eyes Leffe Blonde and Brown for W2,200! Praising Jesus! So who's down for Leffe's in the alley?

^Get yourself down to the new look 'Mexican' and then swing into Joyce's afterwards and get shitfaced with Jay the owner like we did last week.

I've heard there's another foreigner bar (bars?) down there, but I've never been to it.

Sorry, it's called Mexico. New look because the owner has relocated the restaurant a couple of doors up from the old place. I don't live in Masan, so I can't tell you the name of the area where it is. Suffice to say that it's about a 30-second walk from 'Crown Bakery' should you happen to know where that is.
