How does the national health insurance plan work for dependents? Does it work the same but with a bigger deduction? If so, what percent is it? |

It's not a lot. I think it remains at around 4.7% |

My deduction actually went down when my wife stopped working and my baby was born. Both added on to my plan dropped it by about 20,000 a month. |

There is NO additional premium when you add dependents (wife and children) to your NHIC medical.
The cost is currently 5.08% of your salary and is required by law to be split 50/50 with your employer (2.54% each).
It WILL go up in January by about 10% (to about 5.5% of your gross salary your premium will rise to about 2.75% of your salary).
