I've been considering Nespot or Wibro and by all accounts the latter is superior. I haven't spoken to people who have personally used it, though, so if you have direct experience as a Wibro subscriber (is that even the right term? whatever), let me know what you think of it.

Someone on here has it. I think it's worth it to go with the more expensive choice, unless you don't use it much.

Try a search. There was a thread about 2 months ago.

Long story short, it's great for commuting, and coffee shops. You will get a signal in subways and buses. You may not always get a signal in some buildings, especially the larger office towers.

For home use, it would be ok if you just needed the odd email check and a bit of light use. It can download at 1Mbps or more sometimes, but average speed is sluggish compared to a fixed conn and you will get dropped from time to time especially when moving and in low signal areas. It's not for gaming.

I have it and it's well worth it for me.

Yeah, not for home at all. I'll mostly use it in coffee shops and taxis.

KTX?

KTX... hmm... I wonder... but I know you can pay a little extra and use their wifi system while riding.

WiBro only works in Seoul. You can use it on the KTX up until the train leave Seoul and you don't have a signal anymore.

do a search. There are other threads that discuss WiBro in detail.
