Hey guys, I just moved to Korea from the States, Oregon. I am in Ulsan, working for a private, stressing about the Won and adjusting to waygook life.
A few questions to start the insanity....Whats the best way to get to Seoul? Whats the best way to get to Japan, and if it is by ferry, how to I get ferry tickets? Finally, What is there to do in and around Ulsan, when is the soccer matches and who is in Ulsan?
Thanks! |

Welcome to Korea! Ulsan is a pretty good city. It's the heart of Hyundai. I heard that it enjoys the highest salaries per housold in all of Korea. There is a Canadian bar that is not too shabby.
You can get an express bus up to Seoul. Buses go to Busan and there are ferries over to Japan. Have fun! |

That Canadian Bar is called Benchwarmers. To us locals, it is simply Bench. I am here in Ulsan myself with my wife. If you want to grab a drink sometime....let me know. Getting to Seoul - airplane, bus, or train. |
