Wondering what its like living there. Anything to do there nightlife wise?
From what Ive read, seems to be a very small but affluent city. |

| Gwacheon is 12 minutes from Sadang Station in Seoul. It is a nice place and it is less than 30 mins to Gangnam Station. |

Gwacheon is called a city, but it is more like a neighbourhood. It is the edge of Gyonggi-do and Seoul. It is a very affulent suburb that has undergone a lot of redevelopment in the last few years. There is no nightlife there. You are quite close to Anyang and can get to any area of Seoul pretty quickly due to Sadang being very close.
Work wise(if you are an ESL *beep* like me) it is great. There are not so many English Hagwans there, most kids bus to Hagwan-ga in Pyongcheon, but there is a great demand for privates. A lot of work there if you learn a bit of Korean or make some good connections. |
