Sorry for the reduntant question but I need some information regarding the E2 Visa process. I am currently in the process of switching schools and I need to reapply for another E2 Visa. I used an online state criminal background check when I applied for my first E2 Visa and the Korean Immigration office accepted it. I did this about three months ago. Was this luck or is the Korean Immigration office accepting online checks now (assuming of course it is notarized and appostilled by your home country)?

Yes, This changed as of July 17th. You can no longer submit an online CRC. However, if you are applying to a hagwon, you won't (shouldn't, but every immigration officer will give you a different answer) need a new CRC. I am not versed in the PS system. You might need a new one for everytime you apply. Someone else can chime in on that.

I just hired a teacher who worked at a hagwon, submitted his CRC 6 months ago, and didn't need to submit one when he came to work for us.
