We're not talking porn or anti Korea, but particularly videos that glorify other Asian countries though many are still available. I've been running across this, "This video is not available in your country," stuff more and more recently when viewing videos about traveling in Asian countries. It appears Korea recently began censoring YouTube. Go to this page and click on the, "Malaysia, Truly Asia," on the bottom left for one example of this. I only noticed this a few weeks ago and it's popping up more and more in my video searches.

Make no mistake, this user is not into porn or anti-Korea material, but is a real world traveler who even does some volunteering.

What's the deal?

It will get blocked if it's porn or anti-Korean. Very Happy

Seriously, here's some info and advice on getting around this.

Does this also work for circumventing the block on some of the ABC.com programs that are restricted? "Lost" is blocked outside the U.S. and I'm in serious withdraw. I really don't want to go the torrent route as I've heard it is virus rampant and I just don't want to mess with it.

Any advice is most appreciated. Thanks.

The sad thing is, as far as I'm aware, it's not the government censoring it when it gets here. It's youtube complying with censorship efforts.

Use a proxy.

Posted about the same problem in this thread, although I didn't get many replies. Tried the work around suggested on the website, still couldn't get the video.

Or you could just brave it out with torrents.

Ask ol' buddy Teelo for an invite code to Demonoid. I've been using them for years, never had any problems. Its a closed-rego torrent site.

Demonoid is good stuff! I second the idea. Grab Peer Guardian as a personal safety net as well.
