I wonder ... do those who passed the new visa regs. last year, (the Criminal Background Check, amongst other things) are we required to get a NEW CRC to move on to a new E-2 job/employer next year for -- 2009?
I have no idea.
It took me over one month to get my CRC from America last year and it's good for 90 days. I am not sure if I will be "transferring" my visa to a new employer. I may not.
I am American, not Canadian. I understand Canadians must return to their home country for the CRC next year. |

If you already have a CRC then you do not have to reapply for another one.
people who change schools are required to restart the entire process including wait 4 months for a VSS from RCMP.. this is for Canadians |

You don't have to wait four months for a VSS. . The Winnipeg police can give you one (for roughly 30 dollars) inside of a month. |

Here's the link for the Winnipeg police service.

Click on the "by mail" link to get the forms. I don't know if they will send it directly to Korea, I'm hoping they will as I have sent my application away. Perhaps I should have gotten them to send it to a friend back home and have him forward it to me.
Anyhooo. |
