Can only mods delete threads, or can the OP delete them as well?
I ask because a fairly innocuous thread was deleted today while I was at work and I was wondering why?
If it was for the content of a particular post then why don't the mods delete the offending post as opposed to the entire thread?
I know that some have been deleted for a conflict of interest, but as I have no idea why the thread that was deleted today would have been offensive or controversial. |

I second that. There was no flaming, just difference of opinion, no racism, just comments about cultural differences. I don't get it. |

| Are we talking about "the doghouse" thread? It's also quite possible that the OP asked for the mods to remove it. Or maybe mods just chose to on their own. I'm pretty sure that an OP can't delete a whole thread without mods assistance. |
