I have to teach Lesson 15 from the Elementary School English book used in most (if not all) public schools. My co-teacher regularly asks me to develop an activity to follow the video in lesson 1. The last few times I have been unable to think of anything original so this time I want to have a good activity prepared in time for the lesson.
It doesn't have to be complicated, in fact the simpler the better. If we can't think of anything we always end up playing bingo or something like that. I want to avoid that this time.
So my question: what are other public school teachers planning to do in this lesson? Did you come up with an activity? If so, I would love to hear any ideas you have.
Thanks in advance. |

| you should try the website http://www.mes-english.com/games.php. i started a public school job in september and had a hard time at first coming up with any fun activities, but since i found this website its been a lot easier and the kids are having more fun. |

I think one of the games in the book goes something like this....steal a couple of phone handsets...get the children to sit in a circle and pass the handset around. Use music...when the musci stops one has to stand up and invite the other to a game, or something, Using the vocab.
In one school the co-teacher runs the games and the kids had a blast with that one. |
