Hello,
my brother is coming to visit me and was wondering what is the best way do the exchange. Will he likely get a better rate using his card over here? Should he get won in england, or in korea?

DO NOT EXCHANGE WON OUTSIDE OF KOREA.
Buy your won here. Sell your won here. The airport gives the same rates as the banks (of the same branch) in the city.
Be careful using an ATM card. The exchange rates are usually OK but the service charges can be HIGH. Check with your bank to find out what THEIR service charge is then remember than you will pay an additional 1200 won here for the privilege of using it.

| When he gets here just bring your pounds to a KEB if you want the best exchange rate. They have them at the airport too. |
