Hey all,
I was in Korea this past month visiting some family (i'm a gyopo) and saw the goodness of teaching english.
I have a problem however in that I have to wait a year before I can finish off my degree due to certain circumstances. Is there any possible way that I could teach for that year?
I've read up on the TALK program and it seems that 836 people applied for 400 openings.
Any and all help would be appreciated,
Thank you
Drew
ps. also I believe i'm eligible for a f4 visa |

you could just say you graduated. from what ive read on daves f visa holders are trusted and theydont really run all the checks they are supposed to.
but i suppose it would be different with each school. |

With an F4 visa:
Print off a degree from your favorite Ivy League or Pac10 college.
UNLIKE SOMEONE COMING OVER ON AN E2 you can get a job and no-one will check your credentials. Pay your own plane ticket and come on over.
Unless you want to work for a government program there is no-one who will check that your degree is valid. You do NOT need sealed transcripts or an apostille on your documents. You do not need a medical check and you do not need a CRC.
If you are F4 (gyopo) you could be a serial murderer and child molester with outstanding warrants and still be accepted with open arms and land a job just about anywhere.
There are NO checks for you to worry about.

If you are a gyopo, you can print your own degree from Harvard or Yale and make a ton of cash. Also, many gyopos are selling drugs in Hongdae. It's kind of a big problem, because there are no drug checks on them.
If you're an F-4, you don't have to worry about any checks.
Come here on a substandard-paying TALK job. Quit after you line up enough privates. Take a trip to Japan and come back as a tourist.
That's why I hear many of the TALK program people are doing. |

And don't worry too much about ruining the reputation of other gyopos if you get caught. The Korean press will identify you as "a foreigner violating Korean law." This will only lead to more checks for non-gyopo foreigners and the gyopos will continue to be treated as though they're golden; "uri blood," you know. |
