A lot of Korean teachers refer to "classroom English" as the language necessary for a teacher to run an EFL class IN English. Not only giving instruction, but also providing feedback and intervention, etc.. Does anyone know the technical term for "classroom English"?
Thanks! |

No, I have seen plenty of "classroom Engrish" from words ranging from Vocabularies- do walk and other Koglish vbs to full Korean in the English room. This really helps the students.
Some people think just because they went to Sejong University or Ewha think they are the next best thing to Einstein. Unfortunately they get bruised egos when they realize they just studied grammar from a book. This in the real world = YOU need to go back to school or live overseas. |

Open your text books to page 86
Listen and answer the questions
Get in pairs and practice
Change roles and practice again
Put the dialogue in the correct order.
Listen and choose the correct picture.
Listen and fill in the blanks
Find someone who
This is just a small list of expressions your students will have to understand. If they give you blanl stairs then they don't understand classroom English. It's not a bad idea to have a full period dedicated to classroom English near the beginning.

D.D. and Fishead soup might need to work on their reading comprehension skills. It was a "yes/no question" not a "give examples please" posting.
Pink, just out of curiousity, why are you looking for the technical term? |
