If you get hit by a bus, does somebody know how to get your body home?
Make sure you have SOMEONE IN KOREA that has your contacts for home and if you have any medical conditions . A few years ago a young relatively healthy friend had a life threaten illness. Fortunately He was found unconscious in his apartment by his roommate in time, he would have died in 12 hours if he hadn't been . We didn't know who to contact, and didn't know that he had Krone's disease. We had to dig through his personal stuff and finally found a number, but it was about a day.
Most schools don't have an emergency contact number, and they way things change it is likely not to be current if you have been here a few years. Take care of yourself make sure someone has a contact numbers for you. |

That's why you should make sure you school has all of your updated home address information. Also your embassy. And at least one Korean you call a friend (best if a coworker). |

Would anyone know what ICE means if I'm found lying in the street? |

If you are dead, you won't care. Trust me, I've been through this back in 1974. Wasn't a bus, but I didn't care afterward.
The "ICE" thing is stupid. My mother's cell phone shop in the USA added my father's number as ICE. When I was attempting to call his number from her phone, I asked why it wasn't in there. She told me it was under ICE. I said "the number should be 911." |

If I see ICE in a seizuring person's cellphone, I'd probally just figure it was their meth hook up.
Bibbitybop is right. I'm the one that just got hit by a bus. I'll make the time to notify people later. |

Not sure about Korea, but my kid sister is a paramedic in Canada, and she was the one who told me. I'd imagine emergency services types in the West would know. In Korea, doubt they'd even stop to look for a phone, they'd just walk over you. |
