|

I've been capturing footage from my Canon HV30 for the last 5 months and am finally getting around to getting the film onto my computer. I've looked on a few Korean sites and they offer firewires from 3,000 won up to 60,000. Will there be much of a difference and will it affect the quality of the film? I've recorded everything in HD (if that matters) |

Only when dealing with long distances (in excess of 10 meters, I believe). Then it's a question of whether the signal gets there or not. Digital is digital. Buy a cheap cable. I have used a cheap firewire in the past with zero issues. |

There may be a difference in data tranfer rates, but there will not be any difference in quality. |
