| It hardly seems cold enough to have a decent base but apparently the resorts in Gangwon-do are open now. Made a plan to go to Vivaldi this monday. Just wondering if anyone has been out on the slopes yet and if you hit any rocks or if there is dirt showing. Does it really get below freezing at night in the mountains? |

Are you in for a surprise. I'm on the same latitude as Barstow, California, yet I doubt the toilets are freezing in Barstow yet. |

most resorts are open now. maybe not running full operations but most will have several runs going. ive been riding twice so far and plan on more before the weekend.
a lot of runs are man made snow, there has been some fresh stuff falling since the weekend, though its getting pretty warm the rest of this week. perhaps a bit more on the weekend if the forecasts hold.
It will be cold over night - no doubt about it! |
