Buffalo Silents

The Buffalo Silents of Buffalo, New York were a 1920s exhibition basketball team whose members were either deaf and/or mute. The team barnstormed across Pennsylvania, New York and Ohio, playing teams such as Jim Thorpe and His World-Famous Indians basketball team. |

In my couple of minutes of joy, I have learned the following:
1 - The Aguilera surname is from medieval Spain. Cristinia Aguilera was born the same year as me.
2 - Switchball looks to be an interesting game.
3 - Peter Grenader did something with music. This is where the fun stopped! |
