You ought to get some overtime pay then, 30 hrs? My old university used to make us do that kind of stuff, it is OK. The teachers are lazy but nice enough. Makes a change and you meet some different people.

We had that last summer. Each foreigner did one day, or six hours. What a waste of time.

I really don't know. I just saw no mention of it in my contract and would just like to know more about what a typical day would be like. It seems like they are just trying to fill our time because they really don't want to give us an extra week off.

Not in your contract? Try saying "No thanks" and see what happens.

Hmmm, it seems I have totally deleted the word NO from my lexicon upon my arrival in K-land. Brilliant idea.

Something similar to this:

"The employee will perform other duties related to teaching."

plus

"The employer may designate the employee to work at the Office of Education, training center, or other educational institutes while school is in recess. In this case the employee shall not claim any additional pay."

seems to leave you with no choice and no overtime pay.
