My husband and I are thinking about getting a job through S.M.O.E. next March after our contract with our current hagwon ends. I have two questions. First, we are Canadian, will we need another CRC to do this? Immigration should still have one on file for us, from this year, but I suppose that may have expired. Secondly, would we have to do a visa run if we signed on with S.M.O.E.?

Will immigration need a new CRC = maybe. The policy book says no but in practice it is often yes.
will SMOE want a new one = probably yes

will you need to do a visa run = maybe (depends on whether you plan to get a new visa (needs visa run) or are willing to try to jump through the hoops to transfer from the hakwon to SMOE (requires a LOR from your hakwon).
