|
|
Hi there
I am feeling a bit thrown in at the deepend here since the public school teacher is finishing his book and looking to me to prepare lesson plans. Finding the right level of material which is stimulating and interesting to the students isn't easy.
It was easy last year in the hagwon when all the books where provided and I had clear instructions.
I am looking for quality lesson plans on the internet. Ideally the quality should be as high as those seen on esl-lounge.com but for free.
Does anyone have any sites that they can recommend for quality lesson plans and print outs? |

Will you be eating your order outside or near the foyer in our lavish dining hall?
(How about you make your own lessons?) |

I'm not asking for cheap shots.
There is no need to re-invent the wheel. If something was fun and effective for your students then it will also be for mine. It's called information exchange. |

Despite Jadarite's sense of humour, he makes a very good point! You really ought to get into the way of making your own lessons. If you have a computer and at least some free time, you can make the lessons you want to teach and it will be great because you made it and you know what you're doing. I know what you mean about reinventing the wheel but I think you'll enjoy it and feel a bit more fulfilled! It's a skill that could one day lead on to something more lucrative... |

Read through this thread for information.

Also, take a look at my Esnip's lesson planning page for some insight. The other folders will probably help you too. You didn't say what level you were teaching at (elementary, middle, high), but the stuff should give you something to work with. |
