I've worked for GEPIK at two different schools. My first school was brand new and there was only one Korean coteacher there for the first semester, then two for the second. There are three KTs at my new school, but we've hired an intern, so now I belong to the senior KT. I've noticed a correlation between the amount of freedom I have in the classroom and the number of different KTs I work with and I was wondering if most people had different experiences based on the number of coteachers they have.

Last year I had two, this year I have 3. I think I had more freedom last year than this year, because for grades 3 & 4 I was on my own. (with the home room teacher sometimes) My main co-teacher was good and always discussed what she wanted for the coming week, but the other teacher was awful. (I almost quit because of her)

This year, I have 3 and they are pretty good for the most part, but they don't seem to want to discuss lessons with me much, usually 5 mins before class. None of them are as good as the good one I had last year, but they are all better than the ditz I had for grade 6.

i had 5 co-teachers last year and i have 6 this year. i notice this year i have less freedom than last year and am kept busy in and out of the classroom, but i don't think it has anything to do with the number of co-teachers i have (i'm thinking in my case it has more to do with being at a higher income school now and over-abundance of programs there)
