i have a friend coming from an eu country for a little over a week. she'd like to volunteer at an orphanage while in seoul for that time.
any leads on who to contact? or other suggestions? thanks |

Don't do it unless your friend gets proper work visa. Besides, why volunteer in Korea?
There are other SE Asian countries that would appreciate volunteerism much more than Korea. |

I'm very familiar with one orphanage (not in Seoul) and quite frankly I can't think of what a non-Korean speaking volunteer new to Korea would do there for a whole week except be in the way most of the time. |

Sorry, I know this is in the wrong forum, but I'm waiting for my other forum registration to come through.
I'm flying via HK next year, and I have an 11 hour layover, how can I go about doing some volunteering while I'm there? |

you can volunteer at a local bar or worehouse.  |
