Dear all.
I am an MBA candidate and I am in the middle of a career change. I am searching for an international internship. I've come across one service that offers placement for a fee. I have to put down a refundable deposit, and don't pay anything if I can't find what I want.
I am both attracted to and a little leery of the service. On the one hand, I want to work over seas, and finding positions when you aren't in the same country is difficult. On the other hand, I am worried about agency problems.
Does anyone have any first hand experience with these sorts of internship companies?
Are there any sorts of hazards I should watch out for?
Please keep it on topic. |

I know of a company that I think places interns, taking the fees from the employer rather than the candidate. |
