We had about 4-5 inches last night, packed down to 2-3 this morning when I brushed off my car. Anyone else get any?

Clear and cold in Bundang and Gwangju (Gyeonggi). No snow, or any other precipitation.

Only ONE day of snow since 2002.

I am going on my seventh winter here, four of them on Geoje Island and two of them already here in Hadong, between Jiri and Namhae.

And there has been just ONE day in all that time that snow has stayed on the ground. And even then it was gone the next day by noon.

It simply does not snow where I am. Sure it's in the air a few times but melts before it can make the ground white at all. Many weather systems come up from the Pacific and hit here before turning toward Japan: that's bad during typhoon season but great during winter to miss many windy storms blowing in from mainland asia.

I love the mild winters down here, one of the benefits of living in the southeasternmost region. There's a world of difference between Tongyeong and Daegu, even though on a map they may look close. Appearances are deceiving.

It snowed like crazy yesterday here in Seosan. When I went home at 5 p.m. I could barely see in front of me. It also snowed pretty much all night. I had a lot of snow to brush off my car this morning.

It snowed for part of the morning today, too. All the trees looked like they were sugar coated.

I hate snow though, so it didn't make me happy. Reminds me too much of Canada.

As I write this, there are huge snowflakes falling from the sky here in Seosan City. It's falling pretty hard too.

I had to brush about three centimetres off my car this morning. Looks like it's not going to stop snowing for quite a while today.

It's snowing a little in Suji/Yongjin. When the kids saw just a few flakes coming down they started going apesh*t

Snowing off and on here.

Funny: The Weather Channel for Cheonan says that it's going to be 10C low of 3C. They're also reporting that it's -6C!! Not a word about the snow!
