Can you imagine working for a company that has a little more than 500 employees and has the following statistics:

29 have been accused of spousal abuse
7 have been arrested for fraud
19 have been accused of writing bad cheques
117 have directly or indirectly bankrupted at least 2 businesses
3 have done time for assault
71 cannot get a credit card due to bad credit
14 have been arrested on drug-related charges
8 have been arrested for shoplifting
21 are currently defendants in lawsuits
84 have been arrested for drunk driving in the last year

373 in total or approximately 70%
Can you guess which organization this is?

Give up yet?

It's the 535 members of the SOUTH AFRICAN PARLIAMENT -
(The same group that cranks out hundreds of new laws each year designed to keep the rest of us in line!)

(I didn't write this, just copied it off Facebook - Green)

Don't they have like 27 surveilance cameras in the UK for every man woman and child? I forget the statistic but its something ridiculous like that.

I read a story that in the UK anxiety disorders and pathological paranoia is skyrocketing.

I mean, duh,,,I wonder why?

Something like that. About 3 years ago it was predicted that you were seen on 300 different 'security' cameras in an average day. It's likely a far higher number now.

I think I heard this one somewhere before...

Can you imagine working for a company that has a little more than 500 employees and has the following statistics:

* 29 have been accused of spousal abuse
* Seven have been arrested for fraud
* 19 have been accused of writing bad checks
* 117 have directly or indirectly bankrupted at least two businesses

* Eight have been arrested for shoplifting
* 21 are defendants in lawsuits
* 84 have been arrested for drunk driving in the last year

Can you guess which organisation this is?

Give up yet?

It is the 535 members of the United States Congress. The same group of idiots that crank out hundreds of new laws each year designed to keep the rest of us in line. You gotta pass this one on!

So let's get this straight: in so-called 'democracies', people with power and influence get away with shit that people without power and influence wouldn't? Are you kidding me?

Thank you for that. I guess the situation isn't that bad in SA...

But...the likely next president is a misogynist, money-hungry, ignorant, divisive and dangerous individual.

That's a misconception. In fact, trolls would start lining up early in the dark of morning on alternate Wednesdays, clapping their hands together in the sub-zero frost to keep the blood moving. After hours of waiting and shoving, shoving and waiting, the first lucky ones would make it toward the front of the line, to stand behind those who had hoarded enough from the last shipment to bribe the guard soldiers with meat pies and half-rotting potatoes. By late afternoon, with the sun part-way down on the horizon, these blue-fingered ones too would be allowed inside to rifle through the dregs left over in the tubes: half-written posts, 0-view-count fragments, threads starting with the words, "It's 100% true"...

In Soviet Russia, the trolls went hungry. After the walls fell, a few moved to Korea, to begin lucrative careers as ESL teachers and troll on vibrant, better populated boards.

I was going to say Samsung, but 70% sounded a bit low. Very Happy

There aren't that many. That would mean over 1.5 billion... Estimated to be around 4 million a few years ago, one for every 14 people. 300 times a day on camera is about right though. Some people claim that there should be no problem with this unless you're breaking the law. There is a problem with this, though I can never really explain why.
