My question is: what do I need to bring with me, a routing number or just my account number in the States?
Also, I want to ask how much money will actually end up on the other side (in order to make sure the exchange rate they use is the same one I saw online that morning). I can look up some things in the dictionary, but I'd like to have some help from someone who's fluent on this one. What should I ask, to see how much money will actually arrive? I know they won't tell me without prompting. |

Your need your account number(maybe routing number) and your banks Swift code. Also bring youI think thats what its called. If you go to your western banks website and do a search for international transfers you should be able to find it.
As for the amount arriving at home they will give you a reciept that should show all that. If not a little pantomime (pointing at the sign that shows exchange rate with a questioning look on your face) should give you the answer you need.
