Recently this has been on my mind. It's not so bad. I don't want 50 more years, but 20 or so would be fine. I have a friend who is knocking on the door. Frankly, I'm a bit tired of people and the disappointment. (Then again, one should not expect much from a bunch like us)

I try to see good, but you know, truly, most people suck.

Still there is quite a lot of beauty.

Yeah, I'm bored and posting a lot of late.

(Knew I should've got some good stuff earlier.)

We're on the cusp of immortality, and dude, it is too cool.

Simple longevity is being approached in things like this: http://blog.wired.com/wiredscience/2008/11/next-generation.html

But bigger things are near: http://www.ted.com/index.php/talks/aubrey_de_grey_says_we_can_avoid_aging.html

It's nothing to write home about. I'm around 300,000 years old.

July 6, 2053.

I would have guessed sooner, even though I'm proactive with a lot of that stuff. Of course, the beer didn't help.

It calculated 2048 for me. Puts me out at eighty. Not too bad. So I changed my smoking habits from often to never to see how many years it would add.

TWO.

Two years, which at first sounds like a long time, but remember those two years I'm adding on aren't two extra years in my forties. It's two more years in my eighties!

I don't know, on one hand I know I should quit. On the other, isn't life to short to spend it worrying about this and that so much that you don't enjoy the now?

June 22, 2054. That would make me 85.

I gave what I thought were a lot of poor health answers but I don't smoke and my grandparents lived into their nineties so maybe that skews it quite a bit.

Guess I better plan for retirement after all.

Most humans do suck!
Because we have corrupted leaders who set the example!

Look what we can achieve! Putting man on the moon! Curing disease!
ETC ETC ...
All those genius things and we still cant love each other! we still cant help each other! And we still cant be kind to each other!

No room for forgiveness and kindness in natural selection!
KILL OR BE KILLED!

I also wonder when killing another human was considered wrong.

I mean must of been a time in history when it was fine, if someone is trying to get in on your kill, and its a matter of him eating tonight or you. Just kill him and then you and your tribe eat tonight!

In what year was it considered bad? Ohh thats right... its still ok, but only on a government scale!

End of the day you can only count on your family.
And for true unconditional love your pet dog!

That things kinda messed up. It gave me until 2060 originally. I was surprised because I gave some not so good answers. For instance I am not exercising now because of a bad shoulder, but usually I exercise a few days a week. So initially I clicked on 'never' for exercise. I go back later and change it to 3x a week and I lose 2 years off of my lifespan.

If you know what's good for ya, don't exercise I guess.
