| My uni is going to apply for my new visa next week but it will take 3 weeks to process which is going to short me a week of vacation. Is there a way to get around this? Can I travel on my ARC? I was really hoping to get out of here ASAP. |

Are you extending a visa? If so, it only takes 1 day. If it is a new job, then it should only take 10 business days at the most to get your confirmation number. Are you planning on going on vacation to a country that has a Korean consulate. You could kill 2 birds with 1 stone. At any rate, you can travel out of the country and come back in so long as you havr a re-entry visa, and you return to Korea before the expiry date of your ARC.
They won't take your passport, unless you already have your new visa, and are awaiting your new ARC. I have also found that if you use the delivery service offered, then you receive your passport and ARC back sooner.
I hope that helps, but I am not sure exactly what your situation is. |

They allowed me to extend my last visa and transfer it. Now I am at the new job they claim I need a new visa. It's a uni and our assistant can be a bit inflexible at times.
She claims she needs my passport and ARC. I really don't know enough about this chaos to argue with her so...
