THE PLACE HAS BEEN TAKEN! WEEEEEEE!
THE PLACE HAS BEEN TAKEN! WEEEEEEE!

I'm looking for somebody to take over the rest of my housing contract ASAP, which ends on May 9th, 2009 (which is extendable). I pretty much got cheated out of my previous job contract and got sick of looking for jobs here, so I wanna go back home and go back to school.

The monthly payment is made on the 10th of every month and is 550k won (including the building maintenance fee/water utility fee/cable TV fee). On typical usage, the electricity/gas/internet should come out to be about 50k-60k/month. The deposit is 5,000,000 won.

It is a 1-room/studio apartment and it is about 8 pyung (about 6x4 meters/20x13 feet) and is great for a single person to live in. It is a 4-minute walk to Sinchon subway station, a 8-minute walk to Yonsei University, a 12-minute walk to either Ewha University or Sogang University, and a 18-minute walk to Hongik University/Hongdae. Anything you need to access is not too far, including various banks, restaurants, markets, etc. If you're into the love motel thing, or noraebangs and bars, there are a ton of those around here too. Even though the apartment is close to much nightlife, it is in a fairly quiet area where there are many boarding houses. The neighbors are not noisy, either. The landlord is nice as well, though her English is lacking (she lives one floor above).

The apartment is officially called "full option" but that is a bunch of bull. Apparently "full option" means no bed or desk. But I'm willing to sell my furniture at a bargain for whoever takes over my lease.

This is the best apartment I could find for a low deposit and a reasonable monthly rent in this area. Unfortunately the Sinchon/Hongdae area is more expensive than most other places in Seoul, but it is a good location.

SUMMARY:
- 1-Room/Studio apartment in great location in Sinchon, should be about 6x4 meters/20x13 feet.
- very close to Sinchon subway station, Yonsei, Ewha, Sogang, and Hongdae
- 5,000,000 won deposit
- 550,000 won per month for rent, water, cable TV, and maintenance fee
- about 50,000-60,000 per month for internet, electricity, and gas
- contract ends on May 9th, 2009 but is extendable if you tell the landlord in advance
- comes with shoe rack, mini-fridge, air conditioner, room/water heater, television and TV stand/mini-dresser, gas range stove, kitchen sink, restroom (sink/toilet/shower/mirror), laundry machine, bookshelf, full-size mirror, a closet, a small dining table and two chairs, and a small veranda area for storage.
- I am willing to sell the following furniture for a bargain to whomever takes over the lease: a queen-sized bed (no "unwanted stains") w/ 2 pillows, a nightstand, an office chair, a custom-made wooden desk w/ matching stool seat, a high-powered blender, a vacuum, a rice cooker, a clothes rack, various utensils/living supplies.
