The title of this thread isn't as specific as it could be, but here's my question:

Do random Koreans have access to our home addresses by knowing our real names? Can they just waltz into a government office and ask for our home addresses? Find out who we're married to? Is our info open to anyone who wants access to it?

Thanks in advance.

stalking and slander are forbidden in this country.

The moment he starts making false accusations, let your wife (I am assuming she is Korean) call him and tell him that you are going to sue is pants off if he continues slandering.

You do not have a lot of privacy in this country though, so yes, once he has your name it shouldn't be too difficult to get your home address.

Jurgen,

I've already done that. Thanks, I was pretty sure that they have the ability to find out that info - I guess there's no privacy in this country.

There really isn't a lot of privacy anywhere anymore. Just do a people search on Yahoo and tell me what you find. Marriage, birth and death records have always been public records in the U.S. Genealogy would be a pretty difficult endeavor if they were not.
