I just found out today that my boss expects me to stay till almost April. That's not a problem except for the fact that my Visa expires at the beginning of March (the issue date is the 28th of February and my final entry date was the 5th of March putting 1 year at Feb 28 '09- Mar 5'09 for me to have to be done work. What do I do?

If you want to work more to help your boss out, he needs to sign an ammendment to the working contract, and give you some other paper work to take to immigration. You fill out a form, pay 30,000 won and your ARC car expiration date will be changed.

The thing is one of my coworkers ran into the same problem and Immi wouldn't extend her visa. And as much as I like my boss I really don't want to stay for extra time. I want to go home and see my wife and new baby.

I have extended my visa for the past 6 years, and never had a problem. I can't give you information as to why your co-worker was denied, but it shouldn't have been a problem.

If you don't want to stay the extra time, just tell your boss you can't. Tell him your family is the most important thing to you. Hopefully he won't try and screw you out of your plane ticket and bonus.
