I just found out that my current school, E. Bo Young Talking Club, is being bought out (or something similar) by Evine.
I can't find any information on this school searching Google, Naver, or even a couple blacklist sites. A search of this site and Dave's came up empty aside from a single lesson plan post.
I'm just looking for any info about the brand itself as we've not been told anything official, I've just bugged info from coworkers who told me things with a "you didn't get this from me" caveat. The Korean teachers know things but all are claiming ignorance when there are clearly things going on daily that the foreign teachers are not being told.
Any info would be appreciated, good or bad. |

| I knew a couple different people who worked at an E Bo Young Talking Club and they loved it. Flexible hours, paid on time, positive working environment. Generally better than 95% of hagwons. Of course it's a chain, so unless you're working at the exact same one, YRMV. I have no idea what Evine is. |

Yea, I love Talking Club. I work 2-8 M-F, no OT, no micromanaging, and can do my classroom and classes how I want. Been here for almost three years with zero problems. But the lack of info on Evine is driving me nuts. Supposedly there is someone coming in tomorrow to talk to us. Thanks Underwaterbob! |
