Pina = female, for those of you who don't know. Cebuana, to be more specific, in my case. Thinking of doing it over the winter vacation (in Cebu). Any suggestions?

how did you propose to your pinay wife?

why do you need to propose to her - if she is already your wife..?

He's asking how YOU proposed to YOUR wife. I guess he has a Pinay girlfriend and he wants to ask her to marry him.

Then again the OP was VERY ambigious (sarc.)

If your smart you DON'T. Not unless you want an instant extended family of 8 Aunts, 12 Uncles, 37 Cousins, 6 Brothers and Sisters, all of whom are either:
Sick
Unemployed
Farmers with a failed Guarana crop
Orphans
Students
Elderly
Broke
About to be broke.

and you are the new rich member of the family who is going to help them all out.
Run man run!

Does that have anything to do with how to propose to a Pinay?

To the OP... sunset at Tops... then as you work your way back down there are a couple of romantic restaurants that you can pop into have a nice dinner under the stars and pop the question.

Alternatively, the dining room at the Marriott is a little more upscale and usually pretty quiet...

or do a weekend in a suite ON the pool at the Plantation Bay resort and pop the question overlooking the pool with the moon shining down and a glass of bubbly in her hand.

If you really want to impress.... grab a Cebu Pacific flight over to HK (she doesn't need a visa - just her passport) and get her a diamond ring somewhere along the golden mile. (don't go crazy with it, .25-.33ct will keep her happy and not get her finger cut off riding a jeepney at night.)
It also won't cost much more than a weekend at the Plantation bay.

.
