I was just wondering if anyone on here had been placed as an EPIK teacher in Korea thru either Pegasus or Footprints? If so how was your experience?
I am gonna be teaching in Busan in March 2009 and was just wondering what to expect once you are down there in regards to communication between you and your recruiter / or does it even exist inside of Korea?
Thanks |

I've gone through footprints a couple of times. I like them. But i wouldn't expect a whole lot of support from any recruiter once your in country. Once your placed with EPIK they are pretty much your support structure. Problems if they exist will almost certainly emenate from your school not EPIK. soon after you arrive you will have an extremely dull orientation. Use it to meet foreign freinds and write down important names(district supervisor, etc..).
If you end up with any questions about Busan feel free to message me. I only lived there a year but I really enjoyed it. |

they were great help and were supportive when i emailed them from korea with questions.....
it is more EPIK though, like the above poster said, when you get here....they will be the ones to help you with issues at school etc |
