My power brick (the power supply thing) is broken and I'm looking to replace it. Now I bought my 360 in America so I need a 120V~ power supply for it to work without frying my system, will I be able to buy a new/used, separate power supply in Yongsan? What prices do they go for around here in Korea? |

120V AC comes from the wall, the Xbox is like any other Xbox from anywhere and uses 6 or 12V DC or whatever the adapter changes the 120V AC from the wall to. If you want to use it in Korea, buy an adapter rated for 220-240V, if you want to use it in NA, buy an adapter rated for 110-120V. Some adapters are rated for input anywhere from 110-240V and will work in either NA or Korea as long as you can plug it into the wall.
I'm sure you can find anything you need at Yongsan. |

I had the same problem, and I got a new one in Yongsan.
Most places didn't have it, or pulled the whole "I have it" and then went and asked all of their buddies for one and came back with a ridiculous price or the ol "oppsoyo."
Anyway, I found one at the underground place across the street from videogame/cell phone alley. You go down the stairs and then straight ahead (kind of to your left, because straight ahead would be into a booth). He gave it to me for 45,000, which from looking around online and at Yongsan was a steal. If you can negotiate lower, more power to you, but he wasn't too receptive even though I bought a controller from him as well. |

What city do you live in? You might be able to find one closer to home if you're not in Seoul. |
