Just broke up with my girlfriend of 1 and a half years a few weeks ago. Starting to get back into the pick up scene, my skills are a bit rusty so need some tips from all the forum casanovas. I've approached a few different girls in bars around seoul recently but many seem to be on the defensive straight away when they see a foreign guy trying to chat to them, also it's very hard to gauge which girls speak any english. The korean bar layout makes it harder to chat to random people because everybody is at their own tables. Need to think of a good indirect opener to get into conversation and put her at ease.

I don't think you should try charm them at all. Just be yourself and chat about normal stuff. Don't be overzealous and don't drink too much.
