| hi, as the subject states. Where can I go to find cheap veg in Seoul - like traditional markets that sell things on the street. I live in Gangnam - but because it's so expensive here i'd be happy to travel on the subway upwards to an hour or so. You help would be appreciated. |

In my experience the deals can be found where the grandmothers shop and sell things. Surely there are some vegetable stands around staffed by and patronised by grandmothers around somewhere, no?
If not, Cheongyangni station has a big market. But I'm sure you could find a closer one. |

| Try Garak Market, just south of Jamshil. It's the biggest market in the country. The subway stop is at the corner of the market. You'll have to walk about a block to the gate. If you go by taxi, say, "Garak Shi-jang. GS Mart." That way, it will let you off in front of the gate. |
