I'm a public school teacher. The school has just decided to start preping for exams three days early. Of couse nobody told me until this morning that I have no classes so I already preped for them, but hwy who doesn't like to work for no reason. That's right I have no classes for the next two and a half weeks. Of course, this is Korea, so I still have to come even though I have nothing to do (brilliant!). I want suggestions on what I shoul do with all of my free. I know i could read or surn the net. But some creative ideas are what I'm looking for. |

Yah I'm in a similar boat. What I'm doing is learning Korean. Doing a simple google search will reveal some free lessons that are helpful. I've found www.learn-korean.net to be a good starting point.
There's always preparing for next semester if your not already.
Sneaking off and sleeping in the teachers lounge! |

The day goes by soooooooooo slow. I also can't outright sleep because it looks bad. I'd much rather teach. |

be a korean and play games on your phone.
or just walk out of school, spend a few hours strolling outside or catching a nap, or even watch a movie. then come back in time to go home. Say you were napping, or stuck in the bathroom, or a mix of several excuses. |

Do they actually come by to check on you to make sure you're there when you don't need to be?
Got a gaming laptop? tell them you're doing in depth research to better understand the psyche of your students. |

My hagwon is prepping its students for the upcoming exams so I work just 1:30-4:10 one day, 2:30-5:10 the next, alternating days for the next two weeks.
I ain't complaining!
Of course I don't have to stay before or after any classes. I don't think I could stand the waste of time that would be. |
